Abstract. Setiaji A, Annisa RRR, Santoso AD, Kinasih Riyadi ADR. 2021. Review: Factors affecting mass propagation of Vanda orchid in vitro. Cell Biol Dev 5: 51-62. For the past decade, has been primadonna ornamental orchids south and southeast Asia, along with Phalaenopsis Dendrobium. Along increase demand for Vanda, this genus faced several threats, from illegal collection to habitat loss. Therefore, through vitro culture is a promising strategy ensure sustainable business horticulture conservation. This review provides an overview synthesizes various literature. We showed researchers' preferences on aspects growing including species, basal medium, plant growth regulators, explant, conditions. The most commonly used as explants are seeds or protocorms, Murashige & Skoog Vacin Went medium. medium can be added banana homogenate its nutritional value. seedlings incubated at 25 ± 1-3oC, lighting intensity 50 ?mol m-2 s-1 12/16 h PP. Choosing that cheaper but still rich nutrients additives, especially during subculture phase; selecting responsive minimizing possibility contamination; well seeing target market particular, make Vanda's efforts more effective, efficient, profitable.
